Player points are earned by and given to the player for taken actions that improve the game over all (such as recruiting new players or running online scenes for others - see the Player Point section of our website) This section of our website will address Experience Points, how they are earned and limits on spending them. Current EXP System [v3.0] + LARP: 4 (3 for game 1 for costume) + Online Play: 3 + Chat Games: 1 exp per game hosted by an ST or Narrator no challenge, 3 xp per full challenge game + Blogs: 1 pp *AND* 1 exp per entry. Max 1 award per week. + Starting a thread for 3 or more people: 1 exp For your records - prior to 11/2009 a player could earn:EXP Degeneration To help demonstrate how higher level Gifts/Rites are more difficult to learn, players have a maximum of exp they can earn for their character each month based on the total amount of exp they have earned for them. PLAYER POINTS TRANSLATED TO EXP DO COUNT in exp degeneration but NOT against your monthly cap the month you purchase it. [Amended: 1/1/2010 - prior to 1/1/2010, Player Points had no impact on your experience point degeneration.] Degeneration is as follows: 0-108 exp - you can add up to 9 exp a month on your character sheet. 109-205 exp - you can add up to 8 exp a month on your character sheet. 206-290 exp - you can add up to 7 exp a month on your character sheet. 291-363 exp - you can add up to 6 exp a month on your character sheet. 364-424 exp - you can add up to 5 exp a month on your character sheet. 425-473 exp - you can add up to 4 exp a month on your character sheet. 474-510 exp - you can add up to 3 exp a month on your character sheet. 511-536 exp - you can add up to 2 exp a month on your character sheet. 537 - Infinity exp - you can add only 1 exp a month to your character sheet. Reporting You are responsible to add your exp earned to your sheet on puppetprince.com. We operate on the honor system (meaning we trust you to be honest) but if routine audits find more than reasonable errors on your sheet your character will be removed from play by the ST staff so please... be honest. When spending exp, most things don't need to be reported (in tribe/breed/auspice gifts, abilities, below level 4 on lores, influences below level 5, attribute traits) however, if you want to spend exp on something "odd" or "unique" for your character (out of tribe/breed/auspice gifts, high influences, high lores, Rites, new merits, buying off flaws) you must log into puppetprince.com and go into the journal section for your character sheet to let us know what you want. An ST will talk it over with you there before approving it to be sure we're aware of what you're adding and why. STs reserve the right to deny any exp expenditure if they feel it's unjustified. Please do not confuse your character sheet journal with your character blogs here on the website which are for posting stories. Last edited by Kathy A; 04-28-2010 at 09:41 AM.
