Thread: Calling the Seer (Attn: Maddalena)

Maddalena flips through a patient file, scribbling notes in the doctor section. Her cell phone vibrates and skitters around the table in tiny circles. She checked the caller ID and smiles. Corin had not called on her in some time. She wondered what the reason was....

"Hello?"

"Hello Maddalena, I was wondering if you might have time to chat."

Maddalena chuckles.

"Well let me see.... Yes I believe that my so very not busy schedule is quite open at the moment. What can I do for you tonight Corin?"

"Honestly, I just wanted to talk. So much has been going on, and I have not been able to talk to you in such a long time."

"Well, I am at your leisure, Corin. Where would you like to meet?"

She smiles slowly. Her plan was finally beginning to take hold, Corin might be qualified for the Gangrel she needed. Perhaps this talk would help her make that decision...

"Hotel Beltane. It's safe to speak freely here."

"Excellent, I will be there shortly." She hangs up the phone without waiting for a goodbye. She writes one last thing in the patient file she had been working on before putting it back into the file cabinet and locking it safely away. She takes one last look around the office, grabs her cell phone and purse and heads for the door, locking the office behind her.

An appropriate amount of time later Maddalena pulls up at the Hotel Beltane. She gets out of the car and enters the building. She had never been here before and as soon as she crossed the doors she stopped, getting a feel for the ambience and looking for Corin.

Corin sits in an armchair in the lobby, the only person in the hotel, her back to the door. When the door opens she turns her head and see's Maddalena, she stands and walks over.

"Maddalena, thank you for coming. Welcome to my hotel."
