Player Points is a rewards system to encourage actions by players which help improve the community. This might include creating a character history, wearing costumes to the game, volunteering at a convention, spending time helping out new folks, submitting articles to our newsletter or blogging. All these actions make the community more enjoyable for everyone and so we show our appreciation with player points.

Additionally, player points are a great way for members to try out unique and rare character concepts without spending years saving up for it. New and experienced players, alike, are welcome to purchase player points to try out that character concept they've been dying to have a go at but never could in other gaming environments.


Whenever you do ANYTHING to earn player points, you'll send a message to the webmaster@myworldofdarkness.com. You'll say what you did in the title and how much you earned for it in the body of the email.

NOTE: Edited on 4/8/2010. Prior to this point there were other ways to earn points. Auditors should make note of this.

This amount, if okay'd by the staff, will be added to your totals at the top of the page near your login. These totals are only visible ONLY to Admins and yourself. Some player point totals are automatically added when certain conditions on the site are met (such as awards for your birthday, for a new member listing you as the person who referred them etc.)

• 2 pt for blogging on the website for others to enjoy. Limit one per week.
• 5 points for recruiting a new player to the game.
• 25 points (one time per player) can be earned by creating a movie/video that advertises our larp. It must include the website name and address
• If something ever has to be rewritten by the storytelling staff, the affected parties will receive 5 player points in compensation. (added on: 8/12/2009)
• Player points can be purchased at the cost of 1 for $1.

Items, experience points, unique character concepts and more can be purchased with Player Points ... still must have ST approval too. Players who receive any of these items agree to the following statement:

"Playing this concept is a privilege not a right. If at any time I act irresponsibly (by killing sprees or anything else that is damaging to the game at large), I understand that I will be asked to retire or write out the character and have no problem with that fact."
