A Night For Art (ATTN: Any)

It had been somewhat of a long day and at the moment, something relaxing was needed. It was no thought to what would work, fingers already reaching into the bag resting against her side to pull out a still mostly new book. She had managed to fill a couple of the pages with drawings of the city, a view from the apartment she was currently staying in. Heading through the doors into the atrium area, there was a pause in her steps, trying to keep them lighter though the boots didn't always allow for such grace. Her gaze traveled upward slowly until it reached the vaulted glass above, already feeling some of those voices she was hiding from filtering away. A drop of her chin to twist her head enough to speak towards her current traveling companion, Ginelle. "I am going to head over this way.." A motion to the left side not having decided exactly where to stop but something would be found. "..so feel free to go wherever I am only gonna find a quiet place to relax." There was a slight jingle of metal upon metal from the bag, obviously an addition of what was normally in there. Steps took her quickly into the motioned direction, whether followed or not she didn't look.

It only took her a couple minutes before the disguised form dropped onto one of the benches, it's slightly secluded location while still allowing a view of some of the sculptures it was drew her attention. The strap of her bag was removed from across her body, flap opened only to reach in for a couple of the pencils she used, the tips varying depending on what detailing she wanted to add in. Her right leg came up to cross over the other, providing a surface in which to hold the book open, the first page her choice for this work of art. Gia took to a moment of staring before a deeper breath was taken in only to be released in a sigh, moving one of the slightly duller pencil tips to grace on the page, seeming to trace a few lines in smaller strokes, trying to first capture the outline of the statue before her.

A.J. looked at Keela sitting across from him in the VIP Room as she ate. He hadn't touched his food for the whole time that they had been there. His mind was on what Xavier had instructed him on. He looks at his phone sitting there on the table and ponders asking Corin to come to Gippetto's. He looked across the table at Keela again, despite his worries he couldn't help but take in her beauty. He says to her, "Keela, would you mind if I asked Corin to come by for a few?" She looked up from her dinner and smiles and says, "Of course I wouldn't. I want to thank her for making sure I was safe while you were gone." He nods to her and picks up his phone and sends her a text message.

Corin, would you mind coming to Gippetto's tonight. There is something very important I need to talk to you about?

He then sets the phone down and begins twirling his spaghetti around his fork. There is a sadness to his expression that Keela sees instantly. She asks quietly, "What is on your mind, Aidan? You have been quiet all night and its the kind of quiet that lets me know you have something to tell me about." He looks up at her and says, "You are right. There is something on my mind. You probably will not like it either." He pauses as he sees a fearful expression come to her face and shakes his head as he continues, "No, I am not going hunting again. Not at all. Though, I may have to leave town for a while." He expression saddens more and he pauses and reaches his hand across the table and takes hers, "You know I have not been myself in a long time. The other night, someone came to me and made me an offer that was impossible to refuse. This person can teach me to be the man I used to be again. He can show me the way back to being a knight again. The first thing though is to right the wrongs I have done against others over the past few months. Starting with you." He pauses a moment as a smile starts to come to her face. She says, "Aidan, I love you. I always will, no matter how you change." He raises his hand and shakes his head, then continues, "I love you too, and that is the reason why I want to find myself again. I owe you that and so much more. You have endured so much grief over me when I should not have strayed in the first place. Tonight, I am promising you, I will never stray again."

He stands and walks the two steps separating them and reaches into his pocket as he gets down on one knee. He opens the small box that he retrieved from his pocket, revealing a diamond ring. He takes a deep breath as he looks into her eyes and asks, "Keela, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Her eyes flood with tears as she throws her arms around him, sobbing the words, "Yes, yes I will marry you Aidan." She pulls back after a long embrace and he slides the right on to her finger. He is beaming looking into her eyes. He then stands up and kisses her deeply, holding her close to him.

Exploring the Underground (Chris/Nos)

She moves around the underground looking for Chris' room, the night before they had decided to explore the underground together and she was excited. She finds Chris and smiles at him, biting her lower lip for a moment, then finally speaking.

Domino sat in his SUV staring at his phone. He had promised Sophia that he would explain alot of things to her. He wanted to sooner but they kind of got caught up in each other. She was an amazing woman and he had never thought he would be with someone as great as her. He figured she had been busy with clan business so he waited a bit before sending the text. At least, that was the excuse he gave himself. He took a breath and sent the message.

Sophia, if you're not busy, can I pick you up? I believe I promised you a talk.

Afterwards he sits the phone down and waits. He knew he was unique, even for a kindred. He just hoped it wasn't something that would scare her away.

A local man found himself a hero early Thursday night, after pulling himself and his family from the burning shell of their family home at 33rd and Pawnee. Alfred Blake assisted his wife Wynonna and their three children, Billy, Emilly, and Edgar, out of the house before any of them sustained serious damages, but the house itself was consumed in the blaze.

"I'm just glad I woke up in time. Once I saw the fire... I... I just moved. It's like a horrible nightmare that I was lucky enough to wake up from with my family alive and healthy."

"My daddy's a Fireman now!" Little Emilly added to Mr Blake's assessment of the situation.

Authorities believe that the blaze began just before sundown and are investigating the cause of the blaze at this time.

Another new arrival to this city. Hopefully this one is not as uneducated as those that have come before him.
Perhaps he will carry some influence in areas that the family currently has none. Perhaps he will actually know his lineage.
