Joe is sitting outside in the evening. He looks around at all the activity in the area. He looks up to the sky and smiles.
So, it seems that the parents were wrong, great grandfather was not crazy. I am glad that I did listen to the stories he told me. It is just...One minute you are a normal person and then you are this 7 foot wall of fur and muscle. I have never been a figther just to fight but I killed that man. Not only killed him I ripped him apart like I was ripping a bunch of paper. Cover in blood and then you are directed to leave your home and travel 600 miles to the middle of Missouri. To come to a place and a people that are a world different then you in some cases but allot alike.
Joe opens his pack and takes out a pocket knife and a small block of wood. He begins to work the block.
Now I have so much to learn and it seems like little time to do it. There is something coming to attack us here. I am not sure what but we are getting ready for war. It seems like I didn't pick a good time to show up where I know nothing and as of now I am of little help. I have some friends Nikki and Shawn they are nice and are willing to help me and I am happy that they found me.
This is a crazy, strange and intersting world. Tribes of wolves like Indians, warriors, wise man, judges and jokers. There are allot of things that I need to learn.

And boy, will he ever learn. I just hope those "Black Spiral Dancers" don't show up then he'd be in an even bigger mess. I like this, i felt i wanted too know more about Joe. Well done!
